About Ash Chapel

Who We Are

Our Identity

Ash Chapel is a non-denominational, Bible believing, Holy Spirit led fellowship meeting at Ash Chapel, Chapel Wood Road in New Ash Green, Kent

We are a charismatic fellowship serving the folks of New Ash Green, Hartley, Fawkham and surrounding areas. Our chapel has been a beacon of faith in this community since 1843.

We are associated with the Evangelical Alliance and the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches, connecting us with a wider body of believers while maintaining our independent, Spirit-led approach to worship and ministry.

Ash Chapel Congregation

Our Mission

“We proclaim Him, warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom [that is, with comprehensive insight into the word and purposes of God], so that we may present every person complete in Christ [mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him—the Anointed].”

Colossians 1:28 AMP (Amplified Bible)

This verse encapsulates our purpose as a fellowship. We exist to proclaim Jesus Christ, to teach the truths of Scripture with wisdom and care, and to help every person grow into spiritual maturity in their relationship with Christ.

What We Believe

Our core convictions and values

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. Scripture is our foundation for all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - co-equal in being, co-eternal in nature, and distinct in person.

Salvation Through Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. Through His death and resurrection, we can be forgiven and reconciled to God by grace through faith.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, guides, empowers, and gifts believers for life and service.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, build up believers, and reach the world with the Gospel.

Christ's Return

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.

Our Approach to Fellowship

Worship at Ash Chapel

Spirit-Led Worship

Our worship services are designed to create space for the Holy Spirit to move and speak. While we plan and prepare, we remain open to God's leading in our gatherings.

Community Participation

We encourage all members of our fellowship to contribute to our meetings. Whether through sharing Scripture, testimony, prayer, or worship, everyone has a voice and a role to play.

Biblical Teaching

Sound biblical teaching is central to our gatherings. We seek to understand and apply God's Word to our lives, helping each other grow in knowledge and faith.

Genuine Fellowship

We value authentic relationships and mutual support. Our fellowship extends beyond Sunday services into everyday life as we journey together in faith.

Everyone is Welcome

We accept all who want to learn and know more about Jesus, regardless of background, denomination, or where you are in your spiritual journey.

Whether you're a lifelong Christian, just exploring faith, or somewhere in between, you'll find a warm welcome at Ash Chapel. We believe that God meets us where we are and calls us to grow together in understanding and love.
